Sales Terms and Commercial Disclosure
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Seller and Contact
Seller: Think Margin. The seller's legal name, address, and telephone number will be disclosed without delay by email upon request, in accordance with the Japanese statutory commercial disclosure. Contact: thinkmargin.jp@outlook.com.
The Japanese statutory disclosure is the formal disclosure under Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
Launch Markets and Eligibility
The English commercial version is initially offered only to users who are at least 18 years old and are ordinarily resident in, and accessing the service from, one of the following launch markets: United States (50 states and the District of Columbia only), Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
The English commercial version is not offered in other countries or territories at launch.
Products and Price
7-Day Free Version: USD 0. No payment card is required.
Question Genome — 30-Response Version: USD 9.99, one-time purchase. This is not a subscription and does not automatically renew.
Any tax that Think Margin is legally required to collect will be shown before payment. Your card issuer or bank may separately charge foreign-exchange or international-transaction fees.
What the 30-Response Version Includes
You can submit up to one response per day. The paid version is completed after 30 responses, not after 30 calendar days. Days on which you do not respond do not count. A Midpoint Report becomes available after response 15 and a Final Report becomes available after response 30.
There is no fixed calendar deadline for completing the 30 responses while the service remains available. After all 30 responses are complete, the service switches to View Mode. New responses can no longer be added, but the Thinking Map, past records, reports, and export functions remain available while the service continues to operate.
Payment
Payment is processed through Stripe Checkout using the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Question Genome.
The purchase contract is formed when payment is successfully completed.
When Paid Access Starts
Paid access is normally unlocked automatically immediately after Stripe confirms successful payment. Network conditions, payment-processing delays, or technical issues may delay activation.
Cancellation and Refunds
Because this is a digital service, purchases are generally non-refundable once paid access has begun, except where applicable law requires otherwise or where the conditions below apply.
A duplicate or erroneous charge will be refunded after verification.
If a failure attributable to Think Margin prevents you from using or completing the paid service, and the service cannot be restored within five business days after Think Margin receives your support request, you may request a full refund of the purchase price.
No partial refund is provided solely because some responses remain unused. Issues caused solely by the user's device, browser, internet connection, card issuer, or another service outside Think Margin's reasonable control are generally not refundable, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. The time for funds to appear depends on Stripe, the card network, and the user's financial institution.
For these terms, a business day means a weekday other than a Japanese national holiday.
Technical Requirements
An internet connection and a current mainstream web browser are required. Users are responsible for their own device, internet, and communication costs.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these sales terms excludes or limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
